With Georgia on a bye week before its game against Kentucky on Oct. 20, players with injuries are taking it a bit lighter.
Linebacker Jarvis Jones did not practice on Tuesday due to a right ankle sprain. At this point, no determination has been made about his status for the game in 10 days.
His play has not been at its normal level, likely due to the ankle injury.
Quarterback Aaron Murray was back at practice for the Bulldogs. On Monday, he was with his father, who was undergoing surgery for thyroid cancer, but he was back with the team on Tuesday.
"He has a lot going on, but he’s able to focus in," linebacker Christian Robinson said of Murray. "It is more important, his family, but he decided to come back to practice."
As for receiver Michael Bennett, he underwent surgery on his ACL injury on Tuesday and tweeted that everything went well.
Surgery went great! I feel like a million bucks on these pain meds 👍🙌
