If you don't have a ticket to Saturday night's showdown between the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks, then you'd better get ready to open up your wallet.
Tickets for Saturday's game between the Gamecocks and the Bulldogs range from $150 to over $1,000 on StubHub --each.
Per Dog Bytes, this is one of, if not the, hardest ticket to get in South Carolina in three decades.
"This is the hardest ticket in Columbia that I've ever seen," longtime Gamecocks fan Jason Newsome said Monday.
Newsome and other South Carolina fans compare it to the 1984 game against Florida State when South Carolina was 8-0 and ranked No. 5 in the nation.
"I think it's definitely bigger than Florida State in '84, and I was at that game with my dad and aunt as a 3-year-old," Newsome said. "I watched that game on a Beta tape 1,000 times as a kid growing up. I can't recall a game this big in the last two decades."
Bulldogs players will be walking into a wild stadium on Saturday night, with perhaps the most frantic crowd in Gamecocks history. We'll see how Georgia responds on Saturday night, when the two teams kick off at 7 p.m.
