The Georgia Bulldogs will start Jordan Jenkins at linebacker for the injured Jarvis Jones against Kentucky on Saturday night, according to Jenkins' father Ronald.

Ronald Jenkins put the news out on Facebook, as tweeted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Jenkins, a freshman, will make the second start of his career against the Wildcats since Georgia's 56-20 win over Florida Atlantic on Sept. 15. The Georgia native has 15 tackles and a forced fumble this season.

Jones, meanwhile, will sit out after making the trip to Lexington. The junior is hobbled by a sprained ankle and missed practice on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The Bulldogs will hope Jones can heal in time for next week's showdown with the No. 2 Florida Gators.

Against Kentucky, Georgia will go for its sixth win overall and fourth in the SEC. The Bulldogs currently sit third in the East behind South Carolina and the Florida Gators.
