Georgia All-American linebacker Jarvis Jones missed Saturday's game against Kentucky with an ankle injury and his status for Saturday's game against Florida remains in question.
Bulldogs' head coach Mark Richt said there was no way Jones could have played against Kentucky and is unsure whether he will be able to practice on Monday or play against the Gators. Richt said Jones traveled with the team on Saturday in an effort to get him as much rehabilitation time as possible.
Jones isn't the only key Bulldog defender dealing with an ankle injury. Senior defensive end Arby Jones left Saturday's game against a Kentucky in the first quarter with an ankle injury and his status for the Florida game is also in question. Richt said of the players who suffered injuries on Saturday, Jones is the only one who's status for Florida is in doubt.
The Bulldogs will face Florida at Everbank Field in Jacksonville on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
