If the Georgia Bulldogs are going to upset the Florida Gators on Saturday, they're going to need a stellar defensive effort -- or at least one significantly better than the team gave during Saturday's 29-24 win over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Georgia linebacker Jordan Jenkins is confident that the Bulldogs will have a big defensive game on Saturday, despite the recent struggles of Georgia's defensive unit.

"I feel like against Florida we're going to play the best defense we've ever played this whole season," Jenkins said. "In the back of my mind, there's a feeling in my gut that we'll be able to play better and come back. ...I feel like we've got the talent and the players to be a lights-out defense. We keep shooting ourselves in the foot."

Georgia's defense has underachieved this season, surrendering 24.1 points per game -- 50th in the country. The Bulldogs surrendered 35 points in their lone loss this season, in a 35-7 blowout by the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Florida has averaged just 30.1 points per game this season, but have scored at least 31 points in three of their last four games, including a 44-11 win over South Carolina on Saturday.

Kickoff between Florida and Georgia is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. Televised coverage can be found on CBS.
