Abry Jones practiced on Tuesday, and "looked like he's ready to go," according to defensive coordinator Todd Grantham. The Georgia defensive end sprained his ankle during last Saturday's win against Tennessee.
Grantham went on to say, "We'll continue to treat him and get him healthy and I think he'll be fine on Saturday."
Jones is a senior, and started in all 14 games for the Bulldogs last season while recording four sacks. Georgia did not sack Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray once on Saturday.
On the other side of the football, Hunter Long is attempting to return from a broken foot he suffered in August. The Memphis, Tennessee native practiced on Tuesday at guard and center. Long is a sophomore who appeared in three games for Georgia last season.
Long is not expected to be a starter when he returns. His father, Tim Long, played offensive line in the NFL for three teams.
