With their SEC slate complete, the Georgia Bulldogs step out of conference to host the Georgia Southern Eagles this Saturday. Georgia enters the week at 9-1 overall and a winner of four games in a row. Georgia Southern, which plays in the Football Championship Subdivision, is 8-2 this season.
The Bulldogs are No. 22 in FBS in total offense and No. 24 in total defense. They have already wrapped up the SEC East division title, and following Georgia Southern, they'll finish up their regular season with a game against Georgia Tech.
Georgia Southern boasts the top rushing attack in the FCS -- the Eagles are averaging more than 400 yards per game on the ground. They're also in the FCS top 10 in both scoring and total offense,18th in total defense and 16th in points allowed per game.
