Richt hasn't talked up the possibility of a BCS title game berth to his players.

The Georgia Bulldogs have secured a spot in the SEC title game this December, but they have two games to play in the meantime. When asked whether or not he had discussed with his players the possibility of UGA getting into the BCS championship game, head coach Mark Richt said he's keeping the team focused on the near term.

"Quite frankly, we’re not doing that right now," Richt said. "We know we’re playing in Atlanta. We know that’s settled right now, but we know there’s a lot of work in the meantime, which is the job of getting better on a daily basis."

The Bulldogs, who play Georgia Southern this Saturday, are coming off a 38-0 win over Auburn. Georgia closed out its SEC schedule with a 7-1 record, which, thanks to their win over 7-1 Florida, gave the Bulldogs the East division crown.

Following the Georgia Southern contest, Georgia wraps up its regular season slate against Georgia Tech. The SEC championship game is set for Dec. 1 in the Georgia Dome.
