It's taken some time, but Georgia Bulldogs freshman place kicker Marshall Morgan is feeling more at ease on the field.
"I’m 10 games in now, so I feel a lot more comfortable," said Morgan, who was one of the more highly-regarded kicking prospects in the class of 2012. "It feels good being out there and normal. It feels like high school now."
Morgan made a field goal and hit all five extra point attempts during Georgia's 38-0 win over Auburn last weekend. Consistency has been an issue at times for the rookie kicker this season, and he missed a field goal in the two games prior to the Auburn contest. For the year, he has connected on seven of 10 field goal attempts and made 42 of 46 on extra point tries.
The Bulldogs, who have secured the SEC East title, host Georgia Southern at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. WSB-TV Atlanta will televise the contest.
