Georgia Tech Vs. Maryland: Tevin Washington nearing another milestone

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets quarterback Tevin Washington is two rushing touchdowns away from tying Joshua Nesbitt for most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in the ACC. In his career, Washington has scored 33 rushing touchdowns and has rushed for 481 yards this season on 116 carries.

Other milestones that could be set in Saturday's game against the Maryland Terrapins include A-back Orwin Smith needing 9 yards to reach 1,600 rushing yards in his career and 11 to move into Georgia Tech's top 20 all-time leading rushers. In addition, B-back David Sims is only 58 rushing yards away from becoming the 40th player in school history to eclipse 40 rushing yards.

The Yellow Jackets are scheduled to play the Terrapins at Byrd Stadium in College Park, Md., on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. kickoff. The game will be televised on the ACC Network and streamed live on ESPN3.com. The game will broadcast on the radio on 790 AM and 106.7 FM.
