After a 37-10 win over Ole Miss on Saturday, Georgia is now one win away from clinching a spot in the SEC Championship Game for the second consecutive year.
The Bulldogs lost to LSU in the conference championship game, 42-10, in 2011.
Georgia will play at Auburn next Saturday for a chance to clinch a berth in the title game and head coach Mark Richt told his team that they needed to get their minds right the minute the game versus Ole Miss ended on Saturday.
Auburn is 2-7 and 0-6 in conference, play but are coming off a 42-7 win over New Mexico State to end a five-game losing streak.
At 6-1 in conference play, Georgia is tied with Florida for the top spot in the SEC East but owns the tiebreaker against the Gators after they defeated them 17-9 on Oct. 27. Alabama has a two-game lead over Texas A&M in the SEC West division.
Georgia defeated Auburn 45-7 in 2011.
