College Football Rankings, Week 11: Georgia tied at No. 5 in AP Top 25 Poll

The Associated Press Top 25 Poll saw little change at the top this week as the nation's best survived tough games.

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked No. 5 in the Week 11 Associated Press Top 25 Poll, tied with the Ohio St. Buckeyes. The Bulldogs moved up two spots after a 37-10 victory over Ole Miss on Saturday, and were helped by LSU's loss to Alabama.

Despite the loss, the Tigers remain in the top 10 at No. 9, keeping four SEC teams among the nation's elite. Alabama keeps their hold on No. 1, while Florida lands at No. 7 after escaping with a victory against Mizzou.

There are seven SEC schools overall in the rankings, with South Carolina at No. 12, Texas A&M at No. 15, and Mississippi State at No. 22.

The Oregon Ducks remain in the second spot, followed by Kansas State and Notre Dame. West Virginia, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State all fell from the rankings.

Georgia will try and continue its rise in the rankings when it faces Auburn next Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn is winless in conference play.
