The Georgia Bulldogs are going to have to finish the season without senior wide receiver Marlon Brown, who suffered a torn ACL against Ole Miss.

Georgia wide receiver Marlon Brown is out for the season with a torn ACL, according to Bulldogs beat writer Seth Emerson, who cites UGA head coach Mark Richt.

Brown finished Saturday's game against Ole Miss with the fourth 100 receiving yard performance of his career. But on his last play of the game, a 30-yard catch in the third quarter, Mississippi's Trae Elston made contact with Brown's knee.

Brown was treated and did not return. The senior receiver will need surgery, making that 30-yard catch his last with Georgia. Brown had 27 catches for 469 yards and four touchdowns this season. For his career, Brown pulled down 55 receptions for 851 yards and eight touchdowns.

His biggest games of the season came against Missouri and Vanderbilt. Brown had a season-high eight catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers on Sept. 8. Against the Commodores, Brown logged five catches for 114 yards and a touchdown.
