Georgia star linebacker Jarvis Jones is atop Mel Kiper's Big Board of top 25 NFL prospects heading into the 2013 NFL Draft.

Jones has had a dominant season for the Bulldogs, despite missing several games due to injury. The linebacker racked up 77 tackles and a whopping 12.5 sacks on the year. And although Georgia lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, Jones made a huge impact on the big stage. Here's Kiper's analysis of Jones:

The last time we saw him, he was slowed because Bama simply ran the ball all day -- he still finished with 2.0 sacks and 3 TFL in the SEC title game. Explosive, disciplined, relentless edge rusher who profiles as a 3-4 OLB and doesn't need to come off the field. A quick first step, violent hands, tackles well and closes fast. Solid against the run and can really cover.

Jones' teammate and fellow linebacker Alec Ogletree also cracks Kiper's top 10, coming in at No. 9. Ogletree leads the team in tackles with 98, and Kiper says he was arguably "the best player on the field" in the SEC Championship Game.

A third Georgia defensive player makes the list, as defensive tackle John Jenkins check it at No. 19. The 6-foot-3, 358-pound behemoth has been a force in the middle of the Bulldogs defensive line, freeing up space for guys like Jones and Ogletree to wreck havoc on opposing offenses.
