The Georgia Bulldogs are now favored by 10 points over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in New Year's Day's Capital One Bowl. The odds originally opened up with the Bulldogs favored by 8.5 points, according to Oddsshark.com. The Cornhuskers are coming off a 70-31 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers in the Big Ten Championship Game, while the Bulldogs are coming off a 32-28 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game.
The total points projections have also increased. Having opened at 57 points, the total now lies at 60 points for the over/under. Both teams do not have a lot of betting trends going for them except for the fact that the Cornhuskers are 3-5-1 against the spread in their last nine games.
The Capital One Bowl is scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on New Year's Day at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
