Georgia Bulldog football fans might really want to hope Aaron Murray sticks around for another year if the Under Armour All-America Game is any indication about Brice Ramsey's readiness to take over the reins.
In all truthfulness, it's highly unlikely for Ramsey take over the starting quarterback as a freshman anyway. That said, the soon-to-be Georgia man had a miserable day, being intercepted three times against some of the best high school players in the land.
He struggled beyond those throws as well, completing just 5-of-16 passes for 64 yards on the afternoon. It's certainly not the end of the world, but something that has to raise a few eyebrows.
Ramsey doesn't seem at all concerned about the outing, citing a few different reasons for his tough day, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“It was tough,” Ramsey said. “You come out there and try to get everyone on the same page. And when everyone is not on the same page, it makes for chaos. That was what kind of happened tonight. But it was a good experience and a lot of fun.”
Now, Ramsey and the rest of his Georgia-bound friends will be off to college, gearing up for the Spring semester.
