Georgia Southern Vs. North Dakota State: Jaybo Shaw Has No Regrets Leaving Georgia Tech

On the eve of another potential berth to the NCAA FCS Championship Game for Georgia Southern, the Savannah News has a great in-depth profile of the journey of Eagles' quarterback Jaybo Shaw. The brother of South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw and a former Georgia Tech option quarterback under head coach Paul Johnson, Shaw transferred to GSU two seasons ago and has exploded for the Eagles.

Shaw sat behind Josh Nesbitt at Tech and played briefly before suffering a concussion against Duke, a game he threw 230 yards and a touchdown in. Nesbitt maintained the starter's job and Shaw came to GSU, where claims no regrets:

"Football-wise, this is the best decision I ever made," Shaw said. "It has always felt like being with brothers to me, and coach Monken has been like another father figure. I couldn’t have made a better decision."
