If the Georgia Southern Eagles want to try and book their plans to play in the NCAA FCS Championship, their first order of business might be to stop No. 81 in green and gold.
Warren Holloway has scored two touchdowns in the first half for the Bison, one on the ground and one in the air to help push North Dakota State to a 14-7 lead over the Eagles. Holloway scored on a 19-yard pitch and catch from NDSU quarterback Brock Jensen in the first quarter, and then on a 17-yard reverse run in the second.
The Eagles had tied the game up in the second quarter as true freshman Dominique Swope scored from 23 yards out. With just a few seconds remaining in the half, Georgia Southern head coach Jeff Monken decided to run a fake field goal pass from the 15-yard line that failed miserably.
Georgia Southern will receive the ball in the second half, and the winner will play Sam Houston State in the NCAA FCS Championship next Saturday.
