The Davidson Wildcats continue to cruise their way to another Southern Conference title as the Wildcats disposed of the Furman Paladins on Saturday 73-54. Three Wildcats players all contributed 17 points apiece, as the Davidson win put them into the semifinals as they will face the Elon Phoenix.
The Phoenix, who on Saturday pulled off the mild upset over the No. 3 seed Georgia Southern Eagles 65-58, as Jack Isenbarger's 18 points led the way for the No. 6 Elon.
In the other half of the bracket, the Western Carolina Catamounts also pulled off an upset by blowing out the No. 2 seed Wofford Terriers 82-59. The Catamounts will face the UNC Greensboro Spartans as they defeated the Applachian State Mountaineers 65-55.
All games are being played at the U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
