The Georgia Southern Eagles are have a couple of injury concerns before their game against the Chattanooga Mocs this Saturday in the Volunteer State, but the team is relatively healthy this late into the season..

The biggest concern is starting defensive tackle Brent Russell, who aggravated a foot injury in Saturday's 38-17 victory over the Furman Paladins. The senior spent Monday's practice on crutches and a protective boot, but Russell told Matt Yogus of the Statesboro Herald that the boot was precautionary and he should be ready to go against the Mocs.

Part of the reason why Russell feels confident in being able to play Saturday is that he was able to play Saturday after injuring his foot,

"I expect to be 100 percent. I played the whole game and didn't feel it until (Sunday). I'll be 100 percent for Saturday."

In other injury news, fullbacks Dominique Swope and William Banks, backup quarterback Russell DeMasi and offensive lineman Logan Daves are banged up, but they all should be ready to go against the Mocs.
