Georgia Southern Eagles defensive tackle Brent Russell could return from his suspension this weekend for Saturday's game against the Georgia Bulldogs. Russell, an All-American who has recorded 32 tackles, 7.5 for loss and 3.5 sacks this season and last year's Southern Conference defensive player of the year, was suspended indefinitely because of an arrest outside a campus bar for disorderly conduct and obstruction of a law officer.

Despite the suspension, Russell was back at practice on Monday, but Eagles head coach Jeff Monken does not want to commit to anything yet, saying that he will wait til the end of the week.

If Russell does indeed play on Saturday, Bulldogs offensive coordinator Mike Bobo knows that he could be a challenge for the Bulldog offensive line to block:

"He's a big, strong, tough hard-nose kid that plays with a lot of energy," Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said. "Talking to other guys in this league they say he's a good player so he's a guy we have to know where he's at."

The Bulldogs play the Eagles on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. The game will be televised on WSB-TV and the radio coverage will be provided by the Bulldogs Sports Network. The game will also be streamed live on ESPN3.com
