Georgia Southern fullback Dominique Swope had 17 carries for 92 yards in a 45-14 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.

Swope missed the previous two games with a concussion, but appears to be healthy heading into the FCS playoffs.

Georgia Southern safety Darius Eubanks also returned against Georgia, after missing one week with a bruised shoulder.

Despite the loss, Georgia Southern finished the season 8-3 overall and 6-2 in the Southern conference. The Eagles earned one of the ten automatic bids in the FCS playoff bracket after Citadel defeated Furman, 42-20.

Georgia Southern finished in a three-way tie for first place in the conference, with Wofford and Appalachian State. Each team finished 1-1 against the other two this season.

Georgia Southern will find out their opponent in the first round of the FCS playoffs on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

Sam Houston State won the FCS championship in 2011 and are currently ranked third in the country in the coaches poll. North Dakota State is ranked first in the poll at the end of the regular season.
