Georgia Southern defeated Central Arkansas, 24-16, last Saturday, and now the Eagles are focused on their next playoff opponent -- Old Dominion. Georgia Southern head coach Jeff Monken is impressed with what he's seen from ODU this season.

"They have an outstanding offense, but they also have a great defense," Monken said. "I saw them play a couple of times on television this season. There's no question we're going to have to be ready to play our best football."

Old Dominion leads the Football Championship Subdivision in total offense and scoring. This matchup presents a contrast in styles, as the Monarchs lead in the nation in passing offense, while the Eagles have the nation's top rushing attack.

These two teams also met in the playoffs last season and Georgia Southern prevailed, 55-48. The Eagles ran for 477 yards in that game, and the Monarchs threw for well over 300 yards.

This Saturday's game begins at noon ET.
