The Georgia Southern Eagles dropped their second straight game on Saturday night, falling at home to the North Carolina A&T Aggies, 71-65. The game was close for all 40 minutes, with the biggest lead coming with the Aggies up 9 in the first half. Neither team shot the ball particularly well, as neither were able to break the 40% mark.

Eric Ferguson led the Eagles with 22 points and 12 rebounds, and C.J. Reed and Trey Bussey both finished with 12 points. Much of Georgia Southern's shooting issues came from Reed and Bussey, who combined to shoot 5-23 from the floor. Cleon Roberts finished with nine points.

Adrian Powell and Jean Louisme led the Aggies with 23 points a piece, and Jeremy Underwood chipped in with 12 points.

Georgia Southern has a week off before they play again, when they go to Wofford to take on the Terriers on Jan. 12.
