Georgia State football has found creative ways to lose this season and Saturday was no different as the Panthers fell on the road to Division II West Alabama 30-23.
QB Kelton Hill amassed more than 350 yards and three touchdowns but fumbled on the one yard line late in the 4th quarter. The Panthers were unable to score a point on four trips inside the West Alabama 20 yard line.
Georgia State blocked a punt for a safety, had an interception by linebacker Dexter Moody but were undone by the Hill fumble and final nail was wide receiver Nathaniel Minor fumbling as the Panthers drove the field to attempt to tie the ball game.
West Alabama running back Matt Willis rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns to lead the No. 21 ranked Tigers.
Georgia State faces Campbell at home to close the season at the Georgia Dome on Saturday at 2pm ET.
