Georgia State basketball opens its 2011-12 regular season in Seattle for the World Vision Classic, where it will take on Washington, Portland and Florida Atlantic. The home schedule will begin on November 18, when the Panthers host McNeese State at the Sports Arena. Georgia State will also host Georgia Southern as a part of its non-conference schedule.
The bulk of the conference schedule begins after the New Year with a home game against Drexel on January 2. The Panthers travel to VCU on January 4 to take on Shaka Smart and the Rams. VCU will visit the Sports Arena on Jan 28.
The Panthers will close out the regular season on February 25 at William & Mary and will tip off the CAA Championship Tournament on March 2 in Richmond Virginia.
