The George Mason Patriots closed the first half with a 14-0 run and lead the Georgia State Panthers 31-29 at the half in second round action in the 2011 Colonial Athletic Association tournament.
Georgia State is led so far by Eric Buckner with 7 points, 2 rebounds and 1 blocks and Josh Micheaux has been a defensive force with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The Panthers have shot an amazing 64.7 percent from the field, but have committed 12 first half fouls to keep Mason in the game.
George Mason is only shooting 35 percent in the first half but has been able to take advantage of five first half Panther turnovers. The Patriots are led at half by Andre Cornelius with 9 points on 3-5 shooting from deep.
