2012 Georgia State Football Recruiting: ATH Justin Simmons Grabs an Offer

According to Maurice Smith of Next Level Sports Scouting, ATH Justin Simmons out of Martin County HS (Stuart, FL) has snatched an offer from the Georgia State football coaching staff on Friday.

The 6’3, 175lbs Simmons played WR, CB and Safety for the Tigers in 2010. He has tremendous hands and great leaping ability. He had a frame that could easily hold 15-20lbs without losing speed or body control. He could make a significant impact at either the CB or Safety position. According to Smith, Simmons has collected 12 interceptions in the last two seasons and is a very good basketball player.  This is his first scholarship offer.

Junior Highlights

This is the Georgia State football staff led by Coach Bill Curry’s 4th confirmed offer for the 2012 recruiting cycle and, so far, all have been to Floridians. It seems that Coach Anthony Midget is working his home state very hard. The Panthers are set to graduate eight players on the offensive side of the ball and nine players on the defensive side of the ball.
