2012 Georgia State Football Recruiting: QB Trey Dorsey is Offer #7

The Georgia State football team has been extremely active this Spring in the 2012 recruiting cycle mainly focusing on out of state recruits (mainly Florida, to this point). The Panthers coaching staff offered their first home state product in Quarterback Trey Dorsey of Richmond Hills HS.

Dorsey is a 6’0, 181lbs Pro Style passer has very good speed and was clocked at 4.65 in the 40 yard dash at the 2011 South Showcase in Athens earlier this month.  After a solid showing at the Orlando Elite 11 camp in March, he grabbed an offer from Conference USA member UCF. Trey has a strong arm, quick release and has a frame that could easily hold 18-25lbs with college level strength and conditioning.

From Rivals.com Recruiting Analyst Barry Every:

Spins the ball well.  Good velocity on his passes.

The Panthers are his most recent offer to date as coach Bill Curry has made it a priority to sign one quarterback each recruiting cycle.
