2012 Georgia State Football Recruiting: RB Brian Grove Snatches Offer #5

The Georgia State football is continuing their recruiting assault on the state of Florida as they’ve extended an offer to RB Brian Grove of King’s Academy in West Palm Beach. Grove is the 5th confirmed scholarship offer for the 2012 recruiting cycle and each has been to a prospect from the state of Florida.

The 5’10, 188lbs speedy tailback has piled up tremendous numbers last year for the Lions rushing for 1536 yards and 20 TDs in 11 games. Grove has very good vision and is the prototypical one gap running back to fit in OC John Bond’s system. This is his first confirmed scholarship offer.

Georgia State is the first school to offer a scholarship to Grove but he’s sure to receive much more interest this summer and into the Fall.

Junior Highlights

The Panthers had 11 different players carry the ball in the 2010 season and are likely to see some attrition at this position after Spring practice concludes.
