2012 Georgia State Football Recruiting: DT Shaquille Huff Grabs Offer

For the first several months of the recruiting year, the Georgia State football coaching staff has focused on chasing down some of the Southeast's best skill position players offering multitude of grants to players in Florida and Georgia.  Many Panther fans were wondering: Where's the Beef?

Georgia State has offered their first interior lineman in DT Shaquille Huff of Eastside HS in Covington, GA.  The 6'1, 305lbs nose guard is very quick out of his stance and the film is impressive.  He shows very good feet for someone his size and has a very effective swim move.

Many high school players of his size utilize their massive size to bull rush opposing offensive lineman but Huff seems to have the agility to put multiple moves together over the course of a game.  This is Huff's third offer as Louisville and Arkansas State have extended offers to this point.

Georgia State's recruiting pitch to Huff will be early playing time as the Panthers lose starting NG Khirrey Karriem to graduation this offseason.  This is the 11th confirmed public offer for the 2012 recruiting cycle for coach Bill Curry's Panthers.
