Georgia State football continues its steady recruiting march into the state of Florida, more specifically into the Treasure Coast area, as the coaching staff has offered cornerback Alex Hook of Lake Worth HS.
The 5'10, 175lbs cover corner is primarily defensive weapon but has made an impact on special teams and running the football on reverses and sweeps. He has very good hands and very versatile on the high school level. Hook accounted for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries in the last two seasons. He is also holding an FBS offer from Bowling Green.
Hook is the seventh player holding a grant offer for the 2012 recruiting cycle from the Panthers coaching staff led by Bill Curry. We efforted a comment from Rivals.com Florida Chris Nee but he mentioned that Hook is a relatively new name to him. Hook attends the same high school as current Panther running back Rosevelt Watson who scored the Panthers first ever touchdown in 2010.
2010 Stats: 47 tackles, 4 interceptions, 12 passes broken up
2010 Highlights
