Georgia State football have been extremely busy this Spring identifying prospects for 2012 and are determined to add speed and continue to offer talent. Running back DiAndre Atwater of Peachtree Ridge HS and Athlete Mike Hilton of Sandy Creek HS are the latest prospects to receive scholarship offers from the Panthers coaching staff.
Atwater is a 5'9, 195lbs is a dynamic power back and son of former Denver Bronco great Steve Atwater. He has a compact, powerful body and has very good balance playing in a Wing T offense. This is his first public offer to date but has gaining interest from South Carolina, Florida, Georgia Tech and Louisville.
Hilton is a 5'8, 178lbs athlete who played defensive back, running back and returned kicks as Junior at Sandy Creek. He will likely stay at running back as a Senior as he has the explosive speed and will put up big numbers for the Patriots. He currently holds offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati, Southern Miss, Buffalo, Marshall and Western Kentucky.
The Panther coaching staff has spread across the Georgia as these two prospects are offers No. 14 and 15 from the state.
