Per Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Miramar HS standout linebacker Bryan Williams has given the Panthers coaching staff a verbal commitment.
The 6'3, 200lbs outside linebacker has above average speed and makes plays around the football. He jumped at his first offer and according to Carvell, has increasing recruiting interest from South Florida, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Middle Tennessee State, Florida Atlantic and Central Florida.
Williams led his Miramar in tackles in 2010 and has been clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.69 seconds. He has a 2.9 GPA, plans to be in law enforcement and discussed his future ambitions post-football:
"I want to take crime off the street and make the world better."
Williams joins Dothan HS teammates Joseph Peterson and Aaron Thomas as the first three commitments of this cycle. Schools in Georgia State's classification rarely get verbal pledges in July and the Panthers coaching staff is expected to take a class in the range of 16-18 prospects in February
