Per a Georgia State Alumni Association monthly email, the Georgia State football home schedule has been all but finalized. Game times are as follows:
Friday, September 2 - Clark Atlanta - 7:30 PM
Saturday, September 10 - Old Dominion - 12:00 PM
Saturday, October 8 - Murray State - 1:00 PM
Saturday, October 22 vs. South Alabama - 3:30 PM
Saturday, November 5 vs. St. Francis - 1:00 PM
Saturday, November 19 vs. Campbell - 1:00 PM
All game times listed have the dreaded "subject to change," but the timing of the Old Dominion and South Alabama games led me to believe that the Panthers will be playing on television at least once and possibly two times this year to audiences around the southeast via CSS.
The Colonial Athletic Association, which Georgia State joins as a full member in 2012, boasts one of the more robust television contracts in FCS football, which will lead to added exposure around the southeast. GSU fans can now properly plan travel arrangements and tailgating plans as kickoff is only 58 days away.
