BJ Clay Becomes Georgia State's Second Commitment For 2013 Class

Georgia State picked up its second commitment for its 2013 football recruiting class in Dacula High's BJ Clay. At 6-foot and 175 pounds Clay is expected to play either defensive back or wide receiver with the Panthers.

Clay had received interest from UT-Chattanooga and some from Vanderbilt but the Panthers were the first to offer a scholarship. He committed while on an unofficial visit to the campus with his family.

"It just felt a good vibe about the place," Clay told the AJC. "The coaches communicated well with my family and I, as well as the current players. It was just a good environment. And I also like that I will get the chance to play for a great coaching legend like Bill Curry."

Clay joins Jacksonville, Florida wide receiver Devonte Washington as part of the Panthers' 2013 commitments.
