The Georgia State Panthers head to Harrisonburg, Va. to take on the James Madison Dukes on Saturday. The Panthers have stumbled to a 1-4 league record in their final season as a Colonial Athletic Association member, but still can play spoiler for a JMU squad that has its eyes on the conference crown.
The Panthers lost last Saturday in blowout fashion to first-place Villanova. That came a week after Georgia State was able to grab their first win of the year by defeating Rhode Island.
James Madison comes into the game with a 3-1 league record, tied in the loss column with Villanova and New Hampshire, who occupy the top spots. The Dukes' last-ditch comeback attempt fell six points short as they fell behind big in the second half last Saturday. The loss to Richmond dropped JMU out of first-place in the CAA. James Madison was No. 2 in the FCS rankings prior to that defeat.
Game time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
