Georgia State Vs. James Madison Score: Panthers trail Dukes 14-7 at halftime

Georgia State is looking for its second win of the season and is hanging in against the James Madison Dukes trailing 14-7 at halftime.

The Dukes got on the board first with a six yard touchdown pass from Michael Birdsong to Dae'quan Scott to put the Dukes up 7-0. The Panthers answered back with an 81-yard drive and tied things up on a two-yard touchdown run from Rosevelt Watson. James Madison retook the lead early in the second quarter Dae'quan Scott found the endzone from four-yards out to make the score 14-7.

Offensive yardage has been hard to come by for both teams. Ben McLane has completed 10-15 passes but has just 45 yards passing. Travis Evans leads the Panthers with 10 carries for 87 yards in the first half. Watson has eight carries for 30 yards including the Panthers' only touchdown.

Birdsong completed 5-10 passes in the first half for 58 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Birdsong also leads the Dukes with 25 yards rushing in the first half.
