With a disappointing season dwindling to a close, the (1-9) Georgia State Panthers will head to Alfond Stadium to take on the (3-6) Maine Black Bears in a conference game for the two teams.
Coming off of a 53-27 loss at home, the Panthers are seeking their second victory of the season and could also get their second conference victory, with a win over Maine, who were also on the wrong side of a dominating game on Saturday.
At the moment, only Rhode Island and their 0-6 conference record separates the Panthers from being in last place in the Colonial Athletic Association conference. A victory will help keep the Panthers out of the very bottom of the basement and perhaps build momentum for next season.
However, even with a victory, Georgia State could still finish as the second worst team in the CAA, but will depend on William & Mary's upcoming games.
Kickoff is scheduled tentatively for 2:00 p.m. ET.
