Georgia vs. Georgia Tech: Bulldogs rolling over Yellow Jackets, 28-3 at half

Todd Gurley and the Bulldogs have built a huge 28-3 lead against the Yellow Jackets in the first half, and could very well put this game away with a lot of time left.

The Georgia Bulldogs are dominating the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 28-3 late in the second quarter. Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall have combined for three rushing touchdowns, and Aaron Murray connected with Rhett McGowan for the only passing touchdown of the day. Gurley is one touchdown away from tying Herschel Walker's freshman record at Georgia.

The first half has not been kind to Georgia Tech, who have turned the ball over twice in the Georgia red zone. Bacarri Rambo has forced both turnovers, stripping and recovering a Robert Godhigh fumble in the first quarter, and intercepting a Vad Lee pass in the second quarter. Lee and Tevin Washington have again split time at quarterback so far, but it remains to be seen whether Paul Johnson will stick with one of them in the second half to try to get back into the game.

Gurley has 88 rushing yards, followed by Marshall with 46. Aaron Murray hasn't had to throw much, and is an efficient 7-9 for 126 yards and a touchdown. Malcolm Mitchell has two receptions for 73 yards.

Godhigh, Zach Laskey, and David Sims have each rushed for over 30 yards for Georgia Tech, who have had some success moving the ball. Washington is 5-8 for 50 yards throwing the ball, and Lee is 1-2 for eight yards and a pick.
