The Yellow Jackets received a shot in the arm from Vad Lee's play and scored a season-high 68 points, making Tech fans giddy

Georgia Tech catapulted itself back into the ACC coastal race with back-to-back wins, and received a huge offensive boost from redshirt freshman Vad Lee, who accounted for almost 300 total yards and three touchdowns by himself.

SB Nation's Georgia Tech blog, the exquisitely-named From The Rumble Seat, has a plethora of stats and numbers from Saturday's win over the Tar Heels.

Check out all of the best here, including a few good stats about Lee's outstanding day:

Lee's second rushing touchdown today gave him... eight rushing touchdowns this season and eight career rushing touchdowns, tying Gary Lanier for the 10th-most career rushing TDs by a Tech quarterback and ranking as the fifth-most single-season rushing TDs by a Tech QB

The Yellow Jacket bloggers also have an "overwhelming" animated drive chart that replicates some of Saturday's fun.

While head coach Paul Johnson was reluctant to officially declare Lee the starter after Saturday's performance, the Yellow Jackets may need Lee's services if they hope to make a bowl game. Georgia Tech faces off against Duke next week before taking on Georgia a week later, two tough match ups for the Yellow Jackets.
