Duke vs. Georgia Tech injury report: David Scully, Justin Moore out

The Jackets will be missing a pair of kickers this Saturday.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be without kickers David Scully and Justin Moore when they take on the Duke Blue Devils this weekend. Both players have been sidelined by injuries, and walk-on Chris Tanner will handle the kicking duties in their absence.

Tanner also handled the kicking duties in the Jackets' 68-50 victory over North Carolina last weekend, and he made both of his field goal attempts and all eight extra point attempts. Scully began the season as the team's starting place kicker but was replaced by Moore after he began struggling to make field goals. Scully and Moore are a combined five for 11 on field goal attempts this season, and they are 39-42 on extra points.

In other injury news, safety Jemea Thomas was held out of practice Wednesday because of an undisclosed injury, though head coach Paul Johnson expects Thomas to practice Thursday. Offensive lineman Will Jackson is not expected to be able to play this Saturday.
