Georgia Tech matches up against Maryland on the road, as the Yellow Jackets try to get on the winning track after losing to Brigham Young last week and dropping four of their last five games. The Jackets are 3-5 on the season and 2-3 in ACC play, only better than Virginia in the Coastal Division.
Maryland lost its last two games by a combined five points. In fact, no game the Terrapins have played this season has posted a final score with more than a 10-point margin. Odds makers aren't expecting this game to be much different.
The Jackets are eight-point favorites, despite their struggles this season. Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson has indicated there could be a shakeup at quarterback with Tevin Washington having his struggles against BYU and backup quarterback Vad Lee seeming to provide a spark for the team in his replacement.
