Georgia Tech sophomore Synjyn Days had his best game of the season in the Yellow Jackets' 33-13 win over the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday. Days racked up 66 yards on six carries, and he recorded some big gains.

The best play from Days came on a 41-yard run in the fourth quarter that set the Yellow Jackets up for their final score of the game. Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson was happy with what he saw from Days, according to ajc.com:

"He’s been practicing better, focused," Johnson said of Days. "I was proud of him. He came out and played really well."

Days is listed as a quarterback, but he hasn't throw a pass this season. The six carries against Maryland were his first since the third game of the season against Virginia. Days had seven carries total on the year before Saturday.

The sophomore was a bigger part of the offense as a freshman, when he tallied 237 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, while completing 67 percent of his passes for 198 yards through the air.
