ACC Football Standings 2012: Georgia Tech keeps pace in Coastal Division

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are just behind Miami for the division lead, but still need a Hurricane loss.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are one game back for the lead in the ACC Coastal division with two conference games to play. The Jackets will have to win out and still need help to get into the conference title game. Miami would need to lose their last two games, as they have a tiebreaker over the Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets have a big game against North Carolina this weekend to stay alive in the title race. Georgia Tech needs a loss from Miami at Virginia to move into first place.

On the other side of the conference, Florida State remains in control of the Atlantic division. The Seminoles are tied with Clemson at 5-1 in league play, but FSU holds the tiebreaker by virtue of a win over the Tigers. No other team has a chance at winning that division.

The conference championship game is set for Dec. 1 in Charlotte.
