Miami Hurricanes Vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Preview: Injury Reports

Georgia Tech's game notes list seven players for tomorrow's game against Miami. Listed as questionable are r-Sr. C Sean Bedford, r-Fr. OG Will Jackson, r-Jr. DT Logan Walls, and Jr. AB Marcus Wright. Listed as out are r-Fr. WR Jeremy Moore, Sr. QB Joshua Nesbitt and r-So. RB Chris Jackson.

Obviously the most impactful injury in that list is Nesbitt's broken arm from last week against Virginia Tech. It would definitely be helpful if the Jackets can get Bedford and Jackson healthy, as they are both key parts of the Tech offensive line.

According to the Miami Herald, DL Josh Holmes is probable; RB Damien Berry, OL Orlando Franklin, QB AJ HIghsmith, and DB Brandon McGee are questionable; and DB Lee Chambers, TE Asante Cleveland, QB Jacory Harris, WR Allen Hurns, and DL Curtis Porter are out for the game.

Defensively, the Hurricanes are not being hurt much by injuries. Holmes has 4 tackles for the season, while McGee has 13, Chambers has 2, and Porter has 2. On the offensive side of the ball, Miami is suffering a lot more. Orlando Franklin has started 8 games this season and Damien Berry is the team's leading rusher with 690 yards. If either of those players can't play, it definitely benefits the Jackets. Most importantly though is the loss of Jacory Harris. Backup QB Stephen Morris played very well last week, but is still a true freshman.
