ACC College Football Scores, Week 12: UNC Leads N.C. State, Virginia Up On BC

N.C. State Wolfpack at North Carolina Tar Heels: The Heels defense is shutting down Wolfpack QB Russell Wilson, and UNC leads 16-13 just after halftime. Wilson has completed only nine of 20 attempts and thrown a pick, has been sacked three times, and hasn’t rushed for any noticeable yardage.

Heels QB T.J. Yates is having another of his WTF TJY efficient passer days, which are still hard to get used to even though he’s been pretty darn good in most games this year. After 28 passes he has an 8.8 yard average and only seven incompletions.

Virginia Cavaliers at Boston College Eagles: The Cavs lead 13-10 late in the third, running for 98 yards already on BC’s nation-leading rushing defense. The Eagles have allowed only about 74 yards per game so far this season, led by Nagurski Trophy finalist Luke Kuechly.
