Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Tech Score Update: 14-0 Jackets On Joshua Nesbitt's 71 Yard Touchdown

Joshua Nesbitt has moved himself permanently into the record books. His 71 yard touchdown run was enough to pass Woody Dantzler, placing the Georgia Tech quarterback at number one for most rushing yards for a quarterback all-time in the ACC.

The Jackets got the ball after stopping the Virginia Tech offense, and scored on 3 plays in 1:33 to make the score 14-0.

In two drives, the Virginia Tech defense has not come close to stopping the triple option. The Jacket runners are getting to the secondary untouched, and have plenty of room to make a move.

The Jacket defense didn’t look terrible either, playing with a bend but don’t break mentality. Tyrod Taylor threw for 41 yards to three different receivers. The Georgia Tech 3-4 defense was unable to get pressure, and Taylor sat back and found the open holes. The first pressure of the drive came on the final play, on a third and four on the 38 yard line. Taylor was flushed from the pocket, and was not able to convert the first down.

Let’s see how Virginia Tech responds from the shocking early deficit.
