Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Tech Score Update: Darren Evan's Strong Drive Gives Hokies 21-14 Lead

Georgia Tech’s defense has played its best game so far this season, but with Virgina Tech dominating time of possession, it looks like the Jacket defense is finally wearing down.

Virginia Tech stopped the Georgia Tech offense on a three and out, and started their drive at the 38 yard line. Darren Evans took over for Ryan Williams, and pounded the ball down the defenders' throat to the red zone. Evans had 7 carries on the drive, and had all but 14 yards of the scoring drive.

A short Tyrod Taylor pass over the middle gave the Hokies their first lead of the night.

It’s time for a young Georgia Tech offense to step up. The leader, Joshua Nesbitt, is out for the game with an arm injury. The defense has fought hard, but is tired. Who is going to step up and lead the team for a tying score? There is plenty of time, but someone is going to have to put Georgia Tech on his back.
