N.C. State Wolfpack Vs. Clemson Tigers Halftime Update: Kyle Parker Benched, State Leads 7-0 In Sloppy Game

Does anybody want to win in Death Valley? The game has featured three turnovers, 82 penalty yards, two missed field goals, and a lot of sloppy play.

The story of the game so far is Coach Dabo Swinney benching Kyle Parker for two series in favor of Tajh Boyd. In Boyd's first play of the game, he fumbled the ball at the Clemson 7 yard line. Keeping with the storyline, Russell Wilson followed that up with an interception in the end zone to give the ball right back to the Tigers.

Parker did not look happy at all after being benched. In a somewhat humorous move, the first round draft pick of the Colorado Rockies immediately put on a Clemson baseball cap before taking his spot on the bench.

Parker was put back into the game after Boyd's two series, and statistically, he did not have a terrible first half, completing 14 of 20 for 152 yards and an interception. Wilson is 10/18 for 90 yards and a touchdown and an interception.

Wilson and Parker were both drafted by the Colorado Rockies. Maybe they are trying to be courteous to their future teammate. Who will step up in the second half and take control of the game?
